William Trewartha-Jones (b.1998, Callington, Cornwall) is an artist working with graphite powder and pencil on Ampersand claybord. He is drawn frequently to themes of environmentalism, in particular habitat loss caused by animal agriculture. In the face of existential threats to our environment, equivalent existential emotions arise, and we can quickly find ourselves overwhelmed. William aims to, at least partially, speak to these emotions with his art and offer people a space to release some of the tension associated with climate change.
